As they continue their growth journey, they're looking for a talented Senior Financial Operations Manager to join their Finance team and play a critical role in scaling and strengthening their finance operations infrastructure
The Opportunity
This is an exciting leadership role for a qualified finance professional who thrives at the intersection of financial control, operational excellence, process improvement, and people leadership.
You'll be responsible for overseeing core finance operations, ensuring robust financial controls, driving efficient month-end processes, and delivering high-quality financial information across the business. You'll also lead a small team and help shape a scalable finance function capable of supporting continued growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Finance Operations & Control
-Lead core finance operations, ensuring robust controls, accuracy and efficiency.
-Oversee reconciliations, balance sheet integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
-Maintain strong governance and minimise operational risk.
Financial Reporting
-Manage month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and adjustments.
-Deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis and management information.
-Provide insight into key financial trends and performance.
Process Improvement
-Drive automation, process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Support finance transformation projects and systems enhancements.
-Improve scalability while maintaining a strong control environment.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
-Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
-Build strong relationships across Finance, Treasury, Operations and Technology.
-Act as a trusted finance partner, supporting business growth and strategic objectives.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
-ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
-Strong technical accounting and finance background
.
Experience
-Experience within banking, fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment.
-Proven experience leading finance operations, financial control, or accounting teams.
-Strong understanding of month-end close, balance sheet management, and financial reporting.
-Experience driving process improvement, automation, or finance transformation
initiatives.
-Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

-Strong financial control and operational finance expertise.

-Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
