VP, Finance, Sports Production

What You'll Do:

• Manage the annual BU budgetary process alongside the EVP and ensure that all Studios activities are accurately planned in the company financial system in accordance with accounting requirements.
• Manage the monthly P&L close and provide MD&A reporting and commentary.
• Manage the completion of all other corporate and BU financial reporting, consistent with a US listed public company.
• Monitor Studios financial performance and report monthly progress and variances to the SVP Finance IMG and EVP Global Production.
• Review and where necessary improve Studios financial reporting and management information.
• Act as Business partner to the EVP and the Studios management team giving advice and guidance on all relevant financial matters and assisting the team to deliver their financial plans.
• Manage a team of 6 direct reports ensuring that they are adequately trained and aware of current and changing requirements
• Investigate financial performance process improvements e.g. CAPEX investment decisions.
• Review new business proposals to ensure they are financially robust and balance required return vs risk.

You Have These:

• Fully qualified accountant
• Senior finance experience in an FP&A role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience of managing a Finance team.
• Experience of budgeting for and managing a large business P&L.
• Experience of managing CAPEX decisions and budgets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure to meet regular deadlines
• Ability to explain financial matters clearly to non-finance colleagues
• Ability to make good decisions and solve problems
• Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines and motivate a team
• Ability to balance multiple priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• An interest in sport

Working Conditions:

• This is a permanent position.
• This role is based at Stockley Business Park, Uxbridge
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm,
• Occasional travel and unsociable working will at times be required.
