Investment Analyst (European long/short equity)

Europe focused hedge fund with a bias towards smaller companies is looking to strengthen its investment team. 

We are looking for humble, high energy and exceptionally ambitious candidates with an insatiable appetite for learning to help us identify the next batch of Europe's greatest businesses and companies that are going to struggle in the coming years. 

The ideal candidate has the ability to:

• Quickly to grasp key business drivers and flow them through a model seamlessly
• Identify inflection points and catalysts that the market hasn't priced correctly
• Understand the difference between a good company and a good investment
• Think critically and independently and make decisions quickly with often imperfect information
• Communicate proactively, clearly and concisely
• Thrive in a fast paced, risk-taking focused environment

Requirements:

• Outstanding academic track record from a top university
• 1-2 year experience in IBD, PE, HF/AM, or financial journalism. Pod shop analysts looking to transition into a more flexible fundamental investing role are welcome to apply
