Head of Compliance

Head of Compliance Advisory opportunity working with a rapidly growing personal lines insurer. You will front the delivery of strategic regulatory advice, partnering with senior leadership to navigate FCA and PRA requirements while enabling practical, commercially sound solutions that support the continued growth of our regulated businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, regulators and external partners.
• Provide pragmatic regulatory advice, supporting compliance risk management and effective controls.
• Oversee compliance policies, governance frameworks and best practice standards.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on emerging risks and changes.
• Support strategic initiatives with regulatory guidance and oversight.
• Act as a regulatory compliance SME, representing the organisation externally and delivering internal training.
• Lead oversight of the SMCR framework and regulatory governance across UK entities.
• Develop and lead the Compliance Advisory team, fostering high performance and capability.
• Prepare Board and Committee reporting, deputising for the Group Chief Compliance Officer when required.
• Promote good customer outcomes and a strong culture of compliance, security and operational resilience.
• Collaborate across teams to support wider compliance leadership and business objectives.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Extensive personal lines insurance experience.
• Previous experience managing a Compliance Advisory team.
• Extensive Compliance and Regulatory experience gained at a senior level.
