Job Description

Our client is a well-established London-based corporate finance and stockbroking firm, which is seeking a Corporate Finance Executive (Analyst or Associate) to join its growing team. The firm has a strong reputation in the small- and mid-cap space, advising listed and private companies across a range of sectors, with particular strength in equity capital markets, AIM advisory, and transactional support.


Corporate Finance Associate

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on a broad range of live transactions and retained advisory mandates, while developing towards taking on direct client responsibility.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior team members on client accounts and live transactions
  • Building and maintaining detailed integrated financial models, including sensitivity analysis and capital structuring
  • Assisting with the coordination and execution of corporate transactions, including drafting and production of shareholder circulars, prospectuses, and information memoranda
  • Managing transaction processes such as placing confirmations, account reconciliations, and liaising with settlement and back-office teams
  • Supporting regulatory interactions with bodies including the FCA, London Stock Exchange, AIM Regulation, and the Takeover Panel
  • Preparing marketing materials and client presentations
  • Assisting with ongoing client account management, including regulatory announcements and continuing obligations
  • Acting as a point of contact for routine client and adviser communications
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements


Candidate Profile

  • Strong academic background; ACA qualification or legal training is advantageous
  • Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or stockbroking would be helpful
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with market systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
