Our client are one of the most established players in the field, over the past few years x4 revenue and expanding internationally taking mainland Europe and the US by storm. This business only hire the best in class and are looking to add to their stellar finance function.

This role reports into the Financial Controller who we have known for a number of years and would be a great person to learn & develop from. This role will have dotted lines into senior finance members who all have excellent backgrounds and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of financial statements with notes and appendices
• Preparation and posting of journals
• Assisting with the company audit
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Consolidating group accounts
• Preparation and filing of monthly VAT, PAYE returns
• Support on budgeting and forecasting (when required)
• Transactional Finance
• Assisting in the maintenance and improvements of systems and processes

Personal Profile

• Finalist/Newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of systems including Excel. Experience with NetSuite is advantageous but not essential
• Experience within a tech start up is desirable
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve challenging goals
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
