I am partnering with a growing, forward-thinking bank to appoint a Senior Compliance Officer into its 2LOD ( Second Line of Defence) function. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with a clear focus on mortgage lending, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business and shaping real outcomes.
This position offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with influence, acting as a trusted adviser across mortgage and secured lending activities while helping to evolve the bank’s compliance framework.

- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused compliance advice on mortgage lending
- Leading monitoring reviews, thematic work, and regulatory change initiatives
- Supporting SMCR and conduct risk frameworks
- Driving stronger first-line ownership of regulatory risk
What we’re looking for
- Proven 2LOD Compliance experience within financial services
- A must-have background in mortgage lending / secured finance
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to challenge and influence
