Finance Systems Manager

Interim Finance Systems Manager | Real Estate | London - 5 days in the office | 6 month contract with a chance to extend

We are recruiting a experienced Finance Systems Manager to join a real estate business in London. You'll play a pivotal role in the management, optimisation, and strategic development of their finance technology landscape

You'll act as a bridge between Finance, IT, Operations, ensuring systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objective

Finance Systems Ownership & Optimisation

• Own the day-to-day management, performance, and stability of our finance systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and internal controls.
• Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with governance standards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and reduce manual effort.

Business Analysis & Change Delivery

• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into effective system solutions.
• Lead system enhancements from initial concept through design, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT teams, and external partners to deliver change initiatives.

User Support & Adoption

• Manage the finance systems support function and act as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Deliver user training and create high-quality documentation and guidance materials.
• Promote system adoption and continuously improve the user experience through feedback and engagement.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure systems operate within established control frameworks, audit requirements, and data governance standards.
• Support finance technology strategy and contribute to future system enhancements and roadmap planning.

Skills required:

• You'll be a systems-focused finance professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong experience managing and developing finance systems and ERP platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of Yardi Voyager or similar property management system
