Job description:
We are recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our team based at our Manchester shared service centre (PBS). Premier Foods is the UKs largest food manufacturer, home to household favourites like Mr Kipling, Ambrosia and Oxo. As a Treasury Analyst you will be joining a team who are committed and pride themselves in delivering the high standards our customers and consumers have come to expect.
To be considered for this role you must have treasury system management experience.
You will initially be responsible for ensuring that the company accounts and banking processes are maintained and ensuring that the funds are correctly allocated on a day-to-day basis. As the department evolves, as part of the Groups Treasury Roadmap, we have implemented a Treasury system and began automating cash allocation and all roles will take on different responsibilities as part of this change.
The Role...
Bank statement downloads, uploads to SAP and bank reconciliations daily
Completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations
Analysis and investigation of queries and liaise with the business to resolve on a timely basis
Work effectively and efficiently with high volumes and to tight deadlines in line with the needs of the business
Assist in the set up and review of procedures in respect of automating systems and processes
Monitor bank accounts and improve forecast accuracy on cash flow forecasting and systems
Manage the administration associated with FX transactions
Support management to deliver key objectives, support with continuous improvement, upskilling, training and creating a culture of knowledge sharing
Process all cash management deals through the TMS (IT2) for approval
The Essential Requirements
2 to 5 years Treasury experience
A good knowledge of Treasury Management Systems
Excellent Excel skills
Studying\interested in a treasury qualification
Cash Management
