Finance Business Partner – IT

We’re looking for a commercially-minded Finance Business Partner to join our client's IT finance team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone developing their finance career who enjoys getting into the detail, building strong Excel models and reports, and figuring things out when the answer isn’t immediately obvious.
You’ll work directly with senior leaders across Finance and Technology, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project decision-making across a fast-moving IT function.
What you’ll be doing:
• Building and improving Excel-based reports, forecasting models and cost analysis
• Producing monthly reporting packs and variance analysis
• Using data to help stakeholders make better decisions
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting for IT projects and operational spend
• Working with senior finance and technology leaders across the business
• Helping solve financial and operational “puzzles” using initiative, curiosity and commercial thinking
• Getting involved in everything from vendor reporting to demand planning and project prioritisation
What we’re looking for:
• A qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant
• Strong Excel skills — comfortable manipulating data and building useful reports
• Someone proactive, organised and confident communicating with stakeholders
• A problem-solver who enjoys digging into the detail
• Interest in technology, systems or IT finance is a bonus
• Experience with Power Query, OneStream, SmartView or Oracle would be great, but not essential
