Interim Tax Advisory Manager – High-Growth Enterprise Software Leader (London, Hybrid)



A high-growth enterprise software leader is seeking an experienced interim Tax Advisory Manager to join its London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a flexible hybrid working model (2 days per week in the office). The contract is expected to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the year.


The successful candidate will provide effective business partnering and high-level tax advisory support on a broad range of M&A, restructuring, and strategic investment transactions. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of international tax strategies to enhance operational efficiencies, identifying opportunities to deliver value to the group, and mitigating tax risk.


In this role, the interim Tax Advisory Manager will offer tax advisory support as the group enters new tax jurisdictions, evaluating tax implications, structuring considerations, and liaising with external tax advisors. The position also oversees the group’s transfer pricing policies and documentation, managing cross-border tax risk and ensuring compliance with OECD guidelines and local regulations.


Staying up to date with changes in international tax law will be crucial, as will providing proactive recommendations to key stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration across the Tax team, Finance, Legal, M&A, and operational teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective business partnering and tax advisory support on M&A, restructuring, and strategic investment transactions
  • Assist in developing and implementing international tax strategies to drive operational efficiency, identify value-add opportunities, and mitigate tax risk
  • Advise on entering new tax jurisdictions, including evaluating tax implications, structuring, and working with external tax advisors
  • Oversee transfer pricing policies, manage cross-border tax risks, and ensure compliance with OECD and local country regulations
  • Monitor changes in international tax law, assessing business impact and making proactive recommendations
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Legal, M&A, and operational teams


Requirements:

  • CTA qualification required
  • Significant experience in tax advisory, ideally within a complex or multinational environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of international tax, M&A, and transfer pricing
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and external advisors
  • Available to start immediately and commit through to the end of the year
