This opportunity is exclusively for students who are required to complete a 12–13 month industrial placement (sandwich year) as part of their university degree.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be currently studying towards a Bachelor's degree
- Be returning to university after completing your placement year
- Be required to undertake a placement as part of your degree programme
- Have full, unrestricted right to work in the UK for the duration of the placement
Unfortunately, applications from the following candidates cannot be considered:
- Graduates who have already completed their degree
- Students not undertaking a placement/sandwich year
- Candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Student Visa holders
- Graduate Visa holders
- Any applicant who does not have unrestricted right to work in the UK

Finance Intern
A leading UK leisure and hospitality business is looking for a commercially minded Finance Intern to join its finance team on a 12–13 month placement year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience within a large, customer-focused business while developing practical finance, reporting and commercial analysis skills.
You will work alongside experienced finance professionals, supporting key business decisions through financial analysis, reporting and performance monitoring.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting financial reporting and analysis across the business
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends
- Supporting month-end reporting activities
- Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Assisting with performance tracking and commercial analysis
- Working with teams across operations, food & beverage and guest experience functions
- Helping to improve reporting processes and financial controls
Key Criteria
Essential
- Currently studying towards a degree and undertaking a placement/sandwich year
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with data and financial information
- Good Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Full, unrestricted right to work in the UK
