Finance Manager
London | Hybrid | £80,000 - £92,000 + Bonus | High Visibility Role | Strong Leadership Team
This is one of those finance roles where the people genuinely make the difference.

We're looking for a technically strong ACA who enjoys the detail but also wants to be involved in the bigger picture. Someone practice trained who can handle reporting, controls and technical accounting properly, whilst also having the personality and commercial mindset to work across the business and influence people.
The business is growing quickly and evolving its finance function. There's lots to improve, lots to shape and loads of exposure across the group.
This is not a "sit in the corner and produce accounts" type role.
You'll work closely with senior leadership across the business, getting involved in reporting, audit, controls, process improvement and broader commercial projects.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone ambitious.
Someone who can see themselves becoming a Head of Finance or CFO in the future and wants a role that will help them build the skills, exposure and commercial experience to get there. This is the perfect stepping stone for someone who wants to accelerate their career rather than simply maintain the status quo.
The Role
- Leading statutory reporting across a multi-entity group
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP / FRS102
- Managing the year-end audit process and acting as key contact for auditors
- Supporting technical accounting matters and maintaining accounting policies
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journals and technical postings
- Driving improvements across controls, reporting and finance processes
- Supporting finance transformation and systems/process improvements
- Working closely with tax advisers and supporting wider compliance activities
- Supporting treasury and intercompany reporting activities
- Providing technical support and guidance across the wider finance team
- Getting involved in broader commercial projects and business initiatives
What We're Looking For
- ACA qualified, ideally Top 10 trained
- Strong technical accounting and reporting capability
- Experience working within a multi-entity environment
- Someone hands-on who enjoys solving problems
- A commercial mindset alongside the technical foundation
- Strong communication skills and good energy
- Someone who wants to improve things, not just maintain them
- Confident operating in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ambitious and motivated to progress towards senior finance leadership roles in the future
