Group Head of FP&A | Hybrid Working | Senior Leadership Role | Financial Services - Private Equity Environment | To £100k + bonus + benefits


A fast-growing, PE-backed financial services group is looking to appoint a commercially focused Head of FP&A to lead and evolve its strategic finance capability during an exciting period of growth and transformation.


This is a high-impact leadership role offering significant exposure to the CFO, senior leadership team, and investors. You will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, business performance insight, and strategic decision support across a complex multi-entity environment.


The successful candidate will combine strong technical FP&A expertise with commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a passion for improving financial visibility, reporting automation, and decision-making processes.


Role Overview

As Head of FP&A, you will lead the financial planning and analysis function, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Data teams.

You will play a critical role in:

  • Delivering insight-led reporting and forecasting
  • Supporting strategic and operational decision-making
  • Enhancing KPI reporting and analytics capability
  • Driving reporting automation and process improvement
  • Supporting growth initiatives, transformation activity, and acquisitions

About You

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven FP&A leadership experience within a PE-backed, high-growth, complex regulatory environment or big 4 or corporate advisory
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and financial analysis
  • Experience delivering Board-level and investor-facing reporting
  • Strong commercial finance and stakeholder management capability
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills (or similar BI/reporting tools)
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams


It would be a bonus if you bring:

  • Experience within professional services, financial services, insurance, or multi-site organisations
  • Exposure to M&A activity, due diligence, and integration projects
  • Experience delivering finance transformation or reporting automation initiatives
  • ERP systems knowledge (Business Central or equivalent)
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced or change-driven environment
