They're now looking for a talented Group Finance Manager to join their leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of growth.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional reporting role.

You'll be the financial glue that connects a complex and growing group of businesses, providing the insight, control, and commercial challenge needed to support ambitious expansion plans.

You'll have exposure to board-level stakeholders, lead key group finance initiatives, support acquisitions from due diligence through integration, and help drive improvements across reporting, systems, governance, and performance management.

For someone who enjoys variety, complexity, and influence, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Group Reporting & Financial Leadership

  • Lead the monthly consolidation and reporting process across a diverse portfolio of operating companies.
  • Deliver accurate and insightful management information to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Drive improvements in reporting quality, efficiency, and financial visibility across the Group.
  • Own group-wide balance sheet reviews, cash flow reporting, and key performance metrics.

Acquisitions & Integration

  • Support acquisition activity from financial due diligence through to completion.
  • Lead finance workstreams during integration projects.
  • Harmonise reporting processes, controls, and systems across newly acquired businesses.
  • Partner with operational leaders to unlock synergies and improve financial performance.

Business Partnering

  • Build strong relationships with Managing Directors and finance teams across the Group.
  • Provide challenge, support, and commercial insight to improve decision making.
  • Translate complex financial information into meaningful business recommendations.

Controls, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure robust financial controls are maintained across all entities.
  • Support year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Drive best practice across governance, compliance, and risk management activities.
  • Assist with the development of Group accounting policies and procedures.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and contribute to strategic finance projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives as the Group continues to scale.
  • Play a key role in shaping the future finance function.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You'll be comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on, with the ability to manage complexity without losing sight of the detail.

Essential

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
  • Experience within a group finance, financial control, audit, or corporate reporting environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or multi-site environments.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, or corporate transactions.
  • Consolidation experience across multiple legal entities.
  • Experience working within a private equity-backed or high-growth organisation.
  • Systems implementation or finance transformation experience.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of an ambitious, acquisitive growth story.
  • Gain exposure to M&A activity and strategic decision-making.
  • Work directly with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Influence the future shape of a complex and evolving organisation.
  • Enjoy genuine career progression opportunities as the Group continues to expand.
  • Join a business where finance is seen as a strategic partner, not simply a reporting function.

The Bottom Line

This is a role for someone who wants more than month-end reporting.

It's an opportunity to sit at the centre of a dynamic manufacturing group, influence business performance, support acquisitions, and help build a finance function capable of supporting the next phase of growth.
