A growing innovation and tax consultancy is looking to appoint an R&D Tax Consultant to join its collaborative and fast-paced team. The business works closely with companies across a range of sectors, helping them maximise innovation incentives and navigate the complexities of R&D tax claims. This role combines financial analysis with technical report writing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both detail-oriented work and client-facing responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in preparing compliant and high-quality R&D tax submissions while supporting internal and external stakeholders throughout the process. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed cost reviews and financial eligibility assessments
- Drafting and reviewing technical narratives for R&D claims
- Preparing and reviewing full submission packs
- Providing technical R&D tax insight to clients and colleagues
- Supporting accurate and compliant claim preparation
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical and written communication skills looking to build a career in R&D tax. Previous R&D experience is beneficial but not essential, as the firm values attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
